Guest count, timing, food, music and décor — the 10-step checklist our event managers use for every successful party on the river.
Step 1: Fix your guest count and budget
Your guest count decides the vessel. Under 20 guests? A private deck section on a shared cruise is cheapest. 20–60 guests suits a private yacht; 60+ needs a larger cruise vessel.
Step 2: Pick the right time slot
Sunset slots (4:30–7:30 pm) give you golden-hour photos and bridge illuminations. Night slots (8–11 pm) are better for DJ parties. Morning slots work for family events with elders and kids.
Step 3: Choose the menu
Buffets are flexible for mixed groups. For intimate parties, plated dinners feel premium. Always ask for Jain/vegan options and a kids' menu if needed.
Step 4: Décor and entertainment
Balloon and flower décor is the minimum; a neon name sign and photo booth are crowd favourites. A DJ with LED lights transforms the deck after dinner.
Step 5: Logistics
Share the boarding jetty, Google Maps pin and reporting time with guests at least three days before. Arrange parking or pick-up for elders.
Our planning checklist
Guest list → budget → vessel → date & slot → menu → décor → music → photography → guest communication → confirm balance payment 48 hours before. Our event managers handle every one of these if you prefer.
